The development comprises a new steel framed stand supporting mesh reinforced concrete floors and precast terrace units supported by piled foundations with a suspended ground floor slab to provide a spectator terrace served by a ground floor concourse, executive boxes and 4 storeys of shell accommodation for future fit out. As part of the development work, a site investigation was undertaken to confirm the nature and extent of the existing piled foundations.
The stand forms an extension to existing stand developments at the ground. The general arrangement of the terrace and roof structure follows the same principals as the existing stands.
