The neighbourhood health centre comprises a two storey, steel framed building with two wings connected together at a central atrium. The health centre was constructed in the north west corner of a brownfield site. The site had formerly been occupied by All Saints School, a couple of houses in the south western section and a former building known as Mulberry House located in the northwestern area of the site.
During construction, two previously unidentified former wells were identified within the footprint of the former Mulberry House, requiring a revised engineering solution to accommodate the proposed building.
