The steel framed timber clad pavilion is set in the green belt close to Bolton Wanderers main Reebok Stadium. The building follows a modular concept allowing for off site fabrication and has been designed to have minimum visual and environmental impact on its surroundings.
The primary Academy activities that will be undertaken at Lostock will be linked to the weekend activities of the Club, in particular the home fixtures with other Academies and training of the part-time schoolboys. The facility will also be used during the week for training purposes by the full-time academy scholars.
