The £3.5m South Stand redevelopment at the Deepdale ground provides an additional 6000 seats together with associated concourse and entertaining facilities. The stand features a spectacular lattice girder roof based on stadia in Nimes and Genoa. The project was completed on time and within budget in October 2001.
